Michelle is both elegant and fun. She loved the Megan earrings and asked me to design something similar using her favorite colors which remind her of the ocean. It was fun to look for all the different colors the ocean takes on. I found so many this is one of two. The Amazonite is like the Mediterranean on an idyllic day. Labradorite adds mystery to the eye catching blue. The combination reminds me of the moon rising when it just touches the horizon of water. The hoops are hand hammered and hung from handmade earring hooks.

My friend, Carla, of the fabulous Austin Urban Gardens, was named after a hurricane. How many people can make that claim? She it truly one of the best gardeners in town–I’m talking field like proportions of basil plants. Luckily for me, she shares. In the spirit of giving I’ve made these earrings for her. Carla loves purple and these Amethyst certainly fit the bill. The Gunmetal chain takes away the frilliness of this super faceted briolette. To add some texture, but keep the Amethyst as the star, I combined silver and white Freshwater Pearls, faceted Smoky Quartz and Rock Quartz hung from handmade earring hooks. These briolettes are extremely limited. Unless I find more there are only two of you (besides Carla of course!) that will be able to claim ownership.
A stunner. This one has gotten the most comments from friends and family that have previewed the collection. Like a work of art it’s unique and a bit quirky. A peach Baroque Pearl dangles from the bottom of the shell while two blue Tourmalines are used as anchors for the chain. The chain is finished out with silver Pearls, white Baroque Pearls and oval faceted Tourmaline on Gunmetal Chain with handmade Sterling Silver clasp.
This shell is so pretty! This side is all worn ivory and subtle grey while the other side verges on sunset with lovely peach and purple intertwined. I love the look of rustic with the gorgeous sheen of the pink Biwa Pearl. Strung on gold Copper wire and purple leather cord with gold filled handmade clasp. This shell may be worn on both sides.

Pretty little Mini Gretel! These colors will allow you to wear this one with almost anything. The Indian Agate is a really dark blue-green which is set off by the sparkly Citrine stones. Garnet finishes the necklace off adding a little more color near the neck line.
