Michelle is both elegant and fun. She loved the Megan earrings and asked me to design something similar using her favorite colors which remind her of the ocean. It was fun to look for all the different colors the ocean takes on. I found so many this is one of two. The Amazonite is like the Mediterranean on an idyllic day. Labradorite adds mystery to the eye catching blue. The combination reminds me of the moon rising when it just touches the horizon of water. This pretty shell was found along the Gulf coast before hurricane Ike. The shape is reminiscent of a jawbone. It’s paired with a peachy baroque pearl on hand hammered sterling silver with grey leather cord. Every girl loves a picnic, but hates getting lost. If the woodland creatures eat your trail of breadcrumbs, just hold these babies up and let them light your way. Each pyramid-shaped lemon quartz is approximately 2 carats. That’s 8 carats of dazzle in one pair of earrings! The lemon quartz is hung from woven silver and gunmetal chain on sterling wire.
This Betty is made out of faceted blue Goldstone, round Goldstone and African metal beads. The design was inspired by the African metal beads. They are a lovely bronze-copper color and vary in size and texture. I wanted to combine them with colors as unique as the beads. The faceted blue Goldstone is a dark sparkler. The smaller, round Goldstone beads add a warmth and play well with the metal beads.
